Winter Sailfish Action
Report Date: February 1, 2006
As we finish the month of January and look back on the Sailfish season we can't complain. In the last few weeks having as many as 15 shots a day at fish with many days releasing 4 and 5 fish. Also with the availibity of bait almost everday, we have been able to locate fish close to shore with a fwe miles from the beach. When days bait hasnt been there, we have had to troll but also bringing great dolphin action. Many of the fish in the last few weeks have been exceding 20lbs. Inshore we have had great winter pompano action as well as snook, trout and many ladyfish and jacks mixed. Overall either inside or outside the bite has stayed consistant. Lets hope this continues through the rest of the season!! Catch em' up!!
